Santa Sightings Around Memphis



If you’ve got little ones at home who love seeing the Jolly Old Elf in person, here’s the last of the sightings around the city.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14 • Gimme Some Holiday Fun Family Day at the Cotton Museum (65 Union Avenue) 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Music, holiday-themed crafts for kids, cooking demonstrations, sing-alongs with Music for Aardvarks, and a visit from Santa himself.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14 • Santa Listens to Children at The Knowledge Tree (2872 Wolfcreek Pkwy.) Wolf Chase Mall. From 10-noon. Also at 5000 Summer Ave. location from 2 to 4 p.m. Santa will hear from your child's wish list. Personal photos welcome, refreshments available. 382-3120.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14 Santa Arrives By Sleigh to participate in the annual the Germantown Holiday Parade. 2 p.m. Parade entries include floats, high school marching bands, dance troupes, clowns, and more. Route starts at Kimbrough and Farmington, travels west to Exeter Road, then north on Exeter, ending at the Germantown Athletic Club.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14Santa gets jolly at the Reindeer Games and Candy Canes Christmas Event at the Children’s Museum of Memphis. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., families can celebrate the magic of the season with themed crafts and games. Santa and Rudolph will be on-hand with giveaways. Listen to a children's bell choir and watch a mini-Nutcracker Ballet performance. • $3/members, $15/non-members. Museum admission is included.
