Friday, November 16-17 MCA Holiday Bazaar. Memphis College of Art. A favorite holiday tradition includes original works by MCA students, faculty, and alumni. Friday, 6–9 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Free. 272-5100.

Friday, November 16–18Memphis Potters' Guild Holiday Show. Memphis Botanic Garden. The best clay artists from across the Mid-South showcase a diverse collection of ceramic works. Friday, 5–8 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m., Sunday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Free. 576-4699,

Sunday, December 2 • Holiday Artist Market. Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. Come view work by more than 30 local artists, displayed in the Dunavant Rotunda. Free admission to galleries, cash bar. Every purchase supports the Brooks.


Friday, November 23–December 24 WinterArts 2012. This holiday market features a range of craft work, from glass jewelry and clay vessels, to fiber and paintings. Staged by Artworks Foundation. Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Opening reception Friday, November 23, at 5 p.m. Shops at Saddle Creek South, 2055 West Street, Germantown.

Friday, November 30-December 19 • Unveil South Main Launch Party. South Main Street. 20 artists, 20 exhibit spaces, 20 days. Enjoy this daily art exhibition. Reception at Jack Robinson Gallery, 44 Huling, Friday, November 30, from 5 to 7 p.m., then visit individual galleries. Free. 575-0540 •

Friday, November 30-December 24. Memphis Arts Collective. 1501 Union Avenue. Annual holiday market opens at this popular Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Fridays until 7:3o p.m., Sundays, noon-5 p.m.

Thursday, December 6-23 • MemShop. Overton Square. This holiday pop-up shop opens with more than 40 indie designers, makers, and artisans. Also available: Coffee by Cosmic Coconut, Indie Style Market, Sache, yoga classes, live music, and more. Thursday, 4-8 p.m., Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
