Learn More About Shelby County's Optional School Programs

Shelby County Schools are welcoming parents this month to visit optional schools across the county. Open houses are scheduled as follows. Per Enrollment: The first day to pick up bar-coded applications for optional school enrollment is Monday, January 27. Go to the Shelby County Schools Board of Education (160 S. Hollywood), in the auditorium at the rear of the building. Time: 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m. School officials will continue to provide bar-coded applications from January 28th through the 30th, from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. at the SCS Board of Education, Room C106. The first day to submit an in-person application for an Optional School is Friday, January 31. Go to 160 S. Country Music Legend Review Takes the Stage at Gold Strike Resort
