St. Jude Anniversary Gala

In Los Angeles, California on January 7th, 2012, Hollywood celebrities joined St. Jude board members and a number of other Memphians at the Beverly Hilton for this sold-out event at which a commemorative stamp honoring hospital founder Danny Thomas was unveiled.

MBQ CEO of the Year Ceremony

On Wednesday, February 29th, our sister publication MBQ: Inside Memphis Business celebrated the first-ever CEO of the Year awards with a breakfast and ceremony at the Crescent Club. Jim Dickinson Memorial Folk Festival

On September 19, 2011, as part of its free Summer Concert Series, the Levitt Shell hosted the Jim Dickinson Memorial Folk Festival. This tribute honoring the late musician and producer featured performances by the North Mississippi Allstars (two members being Dickinson's sons Cody and Luther), Jimbo Mathus & The Tri-State Coalition, Lucero, Sons of Mudboy, and many others.
