Cirque du CMOM 2013

The Children's Museum of Memphis hosted its annual Cirque du CMOM fundraiser, sponsored by Iberia Bank, on February 2, 2013. Celebrating the evening's Rio de Janeiro: Carnival! theme, guests were invited to "unmask" their wild sides in a festive night of sequins, feathers, samba, and capirinhas. Que noite fantástica!

Staxtacular 2013

The 9th annual Staxtacular fundraiser for the Stax Music Academy, presented by SunTrust, was held at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music in downtown Memphis on January 26, 2013. The event, billed as a"soul-shakin' throw-down and auction," did not disappoint as guests enjoyed refreshments and entertainment alongside some of Memphis' most prominent business and entertainment figures, as well as several players from the Memphis Grizzlies basketball team.

The Memphis Flyer celebrated the 2013 honorees of their annual 20 < 30 issue on January 23rd, 2013, at The Cove on Broad Avenue. The bar was packed as folks gave "cheers" to this year's selected 20-something-year-olds, all saluted for their groundbreaking achievements that are helping to shape the city's future. For the second year, the Memphis Flyer is hosting a series of Open Casting Calls at the Peabody Hotel Rooftop Parties in search of models for their annual Fall Fashion issue. The Memphis Flyer will be holding two more Open Casting Calls this year on July 19th and August 16th at the Peabody Memphis Rooftop Parties. Join them from 6-7 p.m. to have your picture taken as a potential Fall Fashion model while enjoying live music, cocktails, appetizers, and great people!
