Memphis Parent Launches New Website

Memphis Parent has launched a brand-new website packed with helpful articles for parents and parents-to-be, useful links and resources, and a complete archive of back issues. The expanded and enhanced site allows instant access to feature stories and columns about health, technology, education, food, travel, and more. Plus there's a complete calendar of events and even a comprehensive list of summer camps.

We have to admit we're proud of our "sister" publication.  The monthly “Magazine for Today’s Active Family” was recently honored with four national awards for editorial and design from the Parenting Media Association:

• Best Column on Family Matters: Elizabeth Phillips’ "Family Table" January 2011 food column on "Cheeseburger Pie"
• Best Cover — Original Illustration: November 2011 and "The Soaring Imagination of Brian Selznick"
• Best Cover — Stock Photo: April 2011's "Get Out There"
• Best Inside Illustration: "Mom's Biggest Baby Worries" by Jeanne Seagle

Congratulations to editor Jane Schneider and art director Melissa Ellis.
