It’s basic math, people (and pretty darn catchy, too).
Art + Overton Square = Art Squared
This inaugural celebration of all things art will feature local talent as well as artists from across the nation for a grand total of more than 40 exhibits of metal, glass, clay, fiber, jewelry, painting, and more in a 3-day extravaganza. Be sure to stick around for the live art demonstrations.
Presented by the ArtWorks Foundation, the festival is a direct tie to its mission to “encourage public awareness of the importance of a vibrant and active art community and to promote interest in collecting locally produced art through exhibitions and educational programs.”
Grab a bite to eat and maybe a pint to drink and let the live music move you through the creative processes of these masters as they showcase their craft. Maybe even snag a one-of-a-kind piece or two for a loved one (Mother’s Day is coming up, hint, hint).
