April 2007 Backtalk

The Saga of Sivad

As a native, midtown Memphian, I find it very important to stay abreast of all the happenings in mud-town. So, I just had to say thanks for completing the story about Sivad (March 2007).

I, too, was a wee young lad living on the bluffs enjoying Fantastic Features during the early- to mid-Sixties. Having the article and Web site about Sivad to share with my kids (which I had related to them many times) keeps them guessing about my sanity.

And I like it that way! Thanks, again and keep 'em coming!

WOW! You outdid yourself on the Sivad story, and thanks for including the link to the Web site which included the opening to Fantastic Features and the show's theme music. What a trip through memory lane. (I sent the URL to all my brothers-in-law who faithfully watched as boys.) As a college student in the '60s, I admit to many a TV moment with Sivad, the Monster of Ceremonies.
